Our Drone Surveys are undertaken by a Certified RICS Building Surveyor that is CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) registered and a Certified Drone Pilot with UHD 4K video and still images.
This means that clear, detailed and correct footage is captured at the time of the inspection, without having to send it to a separate Chartered Surveyor to find the footage is inadequate.
Roof and Chimney Drone Surveys are available as an add-on to our existing RICS Level 3 Report, with no need for an additional or separate inspection, and also as a stand-alone service with a specific report.
Many parts of roofs and chimneys are just not possible to see without the need for costly scaffolding or cherrypickers.
In some instances, the roof may be too fragile to support a manned inspection.
A drone inspection is especially useful where access is difficult, having the ability to fly close to buildings and in awkward positions.
This will not only provides more detailed information but also be very cost-effective.
A Drone Survey is suitable for identifying and locating defects with Parapets, Gutters, Flat Roofs, Skylights, Flashing, Chimney Pots, Flaunching, Pointing and much more.
Whether you choose high res images that are annotated or UHD 4K video footage to review, pause, rewind as often as you like, a drone survey is the only way to really see the condition of hard to see elements.
